Please join us in welcoming Felicia Dalton to the Building Our Future team! Felicia is joining us as director of strategic initiatives. In this role, she is responsible for contributing to the development and execution of the partnership strategic planning, including advancing and leading strategies focused on early childhood education and literacy.
 
Felicia is a Kenosha native with extensive experience in youth advocacy and assisting families in various stages of their lives. She has worked with families and children in a variety of settings including schools, after school programs and community mental health.  Previously she worked as the director of teen services with the Boys and Girls Club of Kenosha and as a school social worker with Kenosha Unified School District. Felicia is passionate about helping others reach their full potential and is looking forward to facilitating systems work with her fellow community members.
 
Felicia has a Bachelor of Art in Social Work from Carthage College and Masters in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago where she specialized in Mental Health and Interprofessional Practice. As an Air Force veteran, Felicia developed a love of traveling with her family, leisure reading and beginner level crocheting whenever she has the chance.
 
We are so excited to have Felicia as part of our family work team. The official start date is Monday, October 24th.
