BOF is actively seeking applicants for the fourth iteration of our Continuous Improvement Cohort! This eight-session program will guide small teams through the principles of the Results Count framework, while also introducing tools from our StriveTogether network partners. The cohort provides organizations with an opportunity to step out of their day-to-day work, analyze and understand their data, identify areas of improvement, and employ strategies to enhance results for those they serve. To get insights from past cohort participants, check out Episode 26 of our podcast,
BOF’s Continuous Improvement Cohort We invite you to submit your application by visiting: https://bit.ly/BOFCI2024 before January 18th. Please also consider sharing this opportunity with others – organizations need not be current partners of BOF to participate. For any inquiries, reach out to Kevin Meagher at [email protected]. On March 11th, 2021, President Biden signed The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) into law. This historic piece of legislation will provide approximately $1.9 trillion in relief and federal investment to address the on-going impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. This funding has the possibility to transform communities for children and families. As the cradle-to-career backbone for Kenosha County, Building Our Future is well positioned to support entities in leveraging dollars to not only build back better, but build with equity and build to last. The American Rescue Plan Act will bring more than $135 million of flexible funding for children and youth to the Kenosha County community, via City, County, and Village governments; K-12 education systems; and higher education institutions. Building Our Future has created a handout that strives to make this funding easy to understand for partners, advocates, and community members. More detailed national and local dashboards created by Children's Funding Project can be found here.
Building Our Future is proud to be part of a statewide movement. With our partners across Wisconsin, we’re featured in a new case study series from StriveTogether. See how we’ve shifted our work during the pandemic to meet immediate needs and make lasting change:
