About the Youth Voice Project: This initiative offers high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors an exciting opportunity to actively engage in decisions that impact their lives and participate in projects that amplify their voices within our community. Through this program, students will:

What You'll Gain: Over six months, this leadership development program will empower you to realize your potential and design projects that raise awareness about causes you're passionate about. It's also a great way to earn community service hours!
At Building Our Future, we believe in elevating community voices - especially our youth! Destiny, a recent KUSD graduate and freshman at Carthage College, has come full circle - after years as an active participant, she's now leading our Youth Voice Project!
In addition to shaping this initiative, Destiny also serves on our Leadership Table, ensuring youth perspectives are heard at every level.
