Programs for Children Aged 0-5
Baby Storytime
Who can join: Ages 0-18 months, not yet walking - with a parent or caregiver What it is: Fun time for babies and grown-ups. We read books, sing songs, and play together. Learn More Wonderful Ones Storytime Who can join: Ages 12-24 months - with a parent or caregiver What it is: Storytime for 1-year-olds. Books, songs, and finger games help kids learn to listen and enjoy books.. Even Start Program
Who can join: Ages birth-5 - Kenosha, Pleasant Prairie, or Somers families - must meet program qualifications What it is: Free classes that help families. Includes reading help, English classes, parenting tips, and early learning for kids. Families can join some or all parts of the program. Learn More 
1000 Books Before Kindergarten
Who can join: Ages 0-6, before starting kindergarten What it is: A fun challenge for parents and kids to read 1000 books together before kindergarten. Who can join: Ages birth-5 - zip codes 53104, 53170, 53179, 53181, 53192, 53168 - registration required What it is: Your child gets a free book mailed to your home every month. Learn More 
Early Head Start
Who can join: Pregnant families, and children ages 0-3 - free What it is: A staff member visits your home each week. They teach you ways to help your child get ready for school. Learn More Early Intervention Who can join: Ages birth-3, with a developmental delay or a diagnosed condition that can cause one - insurance not required (families may help pay for some costs) What it is: Help for children and families, like speech therapy, physical therapy, and special education support. Learn More SPROUTS Playgroups Who can join: Ages 0-5 - with an adult What it is: Weekly playgroups where families play and connect. Offered at many locations across Kenosha County. Learn More |

Who can join: Grades 1-5 (Frank/Columbus Park) or grades 6-8 (Lincoln) - must attend Y Achievers, Frank, Brass, or Lincoln school · register before spots fill up What it is: A summer camp program. Learn More 
Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha Sylvan Tutoring Program
Who can join: Ages 6-12 (free for teens) · Boys & Girls Club membership required ($20/year for ages 6-12, free for teens) What it is: Tutoring to build reading skills, one-on-one or in small groups. Held after school during the school year at the Kenosha club (1330 52nd Street). Learn More
