Regional FAFSA Completions for the Graduating Class of 2025
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) plays a crucial role in making postsecondary education more accessible and affordable. Yet, each year, many students miss out on available funding—nearly 60% of seniors across KUSD and RUSD didn’t complete a FAFSA for the 2024-25 school year.
To change this trend, Building Our Future and Higher Expectation's Equitable Enrollment Collaborative are working closely with local districts and postsecondary partners to implement targeted strategies that boost FAFSA completion rates in Racine and Kenosha.
Below is data on FAFSA completions by school for the graduating class of 2025. The completion rate is calculated by dividing FAFSA completions for the 2025-26 academic year by the number of seniors in the class of 2025 as of the third Friday in September. School goals are set at a five-percentage-point increase from last year, using the same formula.
Please note: This dashboard is designed to help schools track their year-over-year and week-to-week progress on FAFSA completions. However, to maximize impact, we strongly encourage schools to use student-level data to ensure their strategies effectively support students most in need. Check back each week for updated data.
