This week, Building Our Future joined community partners, families, and local leaders in celebrating the Week of the Young Child—a national recognition of early learning, young children, their teachers, families, and the critical role they play in shaping our future.
We were proud to join County Executive Samantha Kerkman at the new KPL Kids Library at Uptown Lofts, hosted by the Kenosha Public Library. This beautiful, kid-friendly space is a shining example of what’s possible when a community comes together to support our youngest learners. The timing couldn’t be more perfect, as National Library Week and Week of the Young Child overlapped—highlighting the power of access, literacy, and connection. Thank you to the Kenosha Public Library team—especially Brandi Cummings—for your continued partnership and for creating spaces where children feel safe, curious, and empowered to explore. Together, we’re laying the foundation for a stronger future for every child in Kenosha. #WeekOfTheYoungChild #NationalLibraryWeek #BuildingOurFuture #EarlyLearning #KenoshaKids Comments are closed.
